Senior Accountant

CIS Group – ICT Company located in Jal El Dib, is looking for an ambitious and motivated Senior Accountant to join our Accounting dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares financial statements
• Handles all Taxes and NSSF declarations

Main Tasks

• Assist in the timely billing of accounts, and reconciles all accounts each month, to balance sheet
• Assist in balancing daily transfer to city ledger and post, edits and updates to accounts receivable system
• Check arithmetic accuracy and invoices
• Ensure all invoices have the appropriate documentation attached and approvals prior to processing
• Process all invoices and statements
• Record and process payments of goods and services
• Reconcile supplier statements with established records and reports any discrepancies
• Oversee and reconciles petty cash
• Oversees and reconcile travel reports, and related expenses
• Check if taxes and documentation are correct
• Maintain Tax File Numbers and other relevant tax records
• Maintains the controls over the accounting transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. MBA or professional certifications are a plus 
• 4- 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
• Experience in NSSF and tax declaration is a MUST. 
• Languages: Arabic, English, French
• Experience in international context, multi-sites company
